How can I forget
my maiden encounter with my First Love
when I had nary of such?
Does it trivialises the faith
and makes redundant my belief?
Walking along those familiar corridors,
the familiar humidity turned strangely alien.
An aversion enveloped me -
I didn't want any company.
I needed to be alone
yet I was anywhere but that.
Aloof I was and determindedly oblivious I remained.
Out of sorts in a world that forgets
the non-existent Absent.
