does law school beckon?

i give up. it is the first time i finally get the time to sit down to study this week, and after 2 hours i find myself making no progress in my preparation for my linguistics and literature tutorials tomorrow. instead i am actually more interested in the legal theory essay that my law friends are working on about how morality and law should or should not be disparate -- which actually brings to light a problem that has increasingly surfaced over the last few months.

i am finding what i am studying now useless and am pondering whether should i apply to transfer to law school or mass comm in ntu.

i mean whether or not my A level grades are good enough to get me there is an issue in itself altogether, but the thing is why am i thinking the way i am right now?

literature's so airy fairy. sure. it's something that i enjoy and something that i usually do well in, but this semester's module on reading film and cultural texts is so lacking in panache. the readings are like stating the obvious and i feel like i am wasting my time. and honestly, what's the point in understanding the pragmatics, semantics, morphology of language? when i spent the night fretting over an essay about the advertisement for calvin klein eternity, people are fretting over morality and law. ok, maybe i'll get to such probing assignments when i get to higher level modules for sociology or political science -- my shortlisted major choices.

but meanwhile, i feel as if i am wasting my time doing the things i am doing. why is my brain so useless?

oh it's meaningless.
