confirmation
his favourite word was amen.
it took a shouting preacher from michigan, usa to wak me up in the halls of the cathedral last saturday.
there's power in the blood of jesus christ -- philippians 2:8 -- 10
why do we let the evil one keep playing with us?
perhaps a tad radical -- he thinks christians should lay hands on themselves and pray for themselves when sick and not go to the doctor -- he shouts his points across and in my dazed stupor, it rang loud and clear. GOD yelled at me through him.
that i had to keep still and not keep talking, asking, praying, doing all sorts of things and everything except be still before HIM. to just come to HIM just as i am.
and then i had a word of prophecy from that preacher that astounded me as much as it made me uneasy. a calling to be what he wants me to be. something he has already put onto my heart. just hearing a stranger say something similar just rang bells all round.
but the thing that put me off was how he pushed me and i did not want to fall flat on my back. 'slaining' me in the process. i was shaking too much. the power of GOD. so i couldn't exactly stand properly. he pushed. i resisted. he pushed again. i lost it. he said not to resist the power of GOD. i have my doubts about all these 'slainings'.
that was a week back.
