a meeting with my conscience

everytime i meet up with my financial advisor(formerly known as the insurance agent), it's like coming to terms with my conscience. my spendthirft days come back to haunt me. how my days of ill-discipline and shopping on impulse come back to kill me. i know what must be done, but i still can't curb the leakages in my personal finances.

tomorrow i am meeting up with him to sign up for this investment plan. you see. the 500-a month thing is a variable savings since i am saving the amount to spend on perishable items. so in a sense it is short term savings. this saving plan require me to set aside 75-a-month over the long term.

ah. but for the wonders of the financial discipline.

on today's a-thank-you-a-day-keeps-the-demons-at-bay series, thank GOD for making this week appear to flash past in a jiffy. i have got one week left before i leave for my course. so thank GOD.
