exhaustion
and so i start my course tomorow. i am so glad to rid myself of office politics. even if it's only for a month.
this whole week has been an exhausting rush all over. rushing to clear whatever nonsense i could before i leave. so that i could leave in peace. and those i can't finish, i delegated reluctantly. letting go has got to be my greatest weakness.
and so i stayed till 2pm on a saturday to make sure everything would go like clock work on monday. then i rushed to church to attend a meeting that was ending. had my lunch on the bus. it was horrible gulping chicken rice on the way to church. but i was too hungry to mind anything else. as long as my tummy was filled. was supposed to watch my first r(a) movie with the nus cell people. but people couldn't make it, so i decided to call it off and sleep instead. i never quite fathomed the extent of my exhaustion until i was on my bed. the next thing i knew. it was nine in the evening.
i slept by midnight. and i still couldn't wake up for service today. after that, went to town. lunched with marcus. bought CD's. for a change. instead of books. discovered the david crowder band. fabulous. went home. chilled.
in today's a-thank-you-a-day-keeps-the-demons-at-bay series, thank GOD for this opportunity to attend this basic manpower officer course. it would be a good break from the office i hope. =)
