i timed my arrival in school to perfection today. i didn't want to arrive too early and engage in unnecessary pre-exam mingling. so i did my last minute review at home till 12noon, grabbed some lunch, and boarded the 12.30pm bus. which allowed me to do something radical by my own standards today - i read my Bible before i entered the exam hall.
and oh by the way, it's all over for me. my examinations are over.
i thought i would be slaughtered by today's paper, but the paper resembled a literature paper and not a communications theory one which i had feared, so thank God for that. just that for the question i answered on sex and the city, i confused cara, the married obnoxious friend of carrie for samantha. it's stupid mistake that i repeated throughout my essay - i hope the marker would not take it badly.
but take nothing from the fact that it is all over now. i'll just have to face the music when the results are out later this month. but that for later.
for a while after i stepped out of the exam hall, i was overwhelmed by the customary sense of emptiness and then hunger and then fatigue. i was walking aimlessly around me, trying to think of something to do for the rest of the day. at the end, i ended up hanging around the people who were studying for their remaining papers, having something to eat and stuttering my way home to sleep the headache off.
now for the packing of all the notes and books and trying to find space in my cupboard to store them. now's the time to finish up my magazine and get it produced finally. now's the time to think about my major. i can finally start filling up my diary with appointments with real people at places other than the library. time to also look for holiday work. time to start living..and let live.
