of stalled brains and bodies

it's that time of the semester again when you have to start packing your room that had been turned into a war zone because of the exams - and you are feeling super lazy and nua-ed out. it's probably a reaction to the examinations - it's like after being so busy for so long, once the thing you have been busy with is over, you just want to do absolutely nothing and rot.

i have been doing absolutely zilch since tuesday - which is bad because there are 2 things i need to finish by this summer. the bloody magazine i have been pushing back and procrastinating about needs to be launched by 21 may. and there's my driving license that i have to finish before i start school to avoid extending the world record that i currently hold for the longest time taken to get my driving license.

the only highlight of the last 2 days has been the 2 champions league semi-finals i caught on television. i was quite gutted when psv eindhoven didn't manage to get to the final despite dominating ac milan totally in the second leg and much of the first as well. and i never supported liverpool this much before, but because i am anti-chelsea, my heart was in my mouth when eidur gudjohnsen had the liverpool goal at his mercy - i was just so happy when he missed that sitter. but liverpool's triumph had a lot to do with the insane defender that jamie carragher had morphed into under rapheal benitez this season. nice.

i think i will pack my laptop and my editing drafts to go to the library tomorrow. i need to stop procrastinating and finish up all the articles so someone can help me with the technological bit when it comes to the layout. bah! time to crank the engine up again.
