the missed call

i just got back from the ifes east asian regional conference in bogor, indonesia. i haven't managed to gain any internet access over the last week as i was cooped up in some obscure place. my solitary attempt to get internet access when i ventured into the city was greeted with ultra-slow dial-up access which somehow didn't load the websites i wanted to access.

and it has somehow cost my my journalism internship with the singapore press holdings.

i was running through the tons of emails accumulated over the week i was away, and i found one from the human resource people in sph. apparently they had tried to call me while i was at the kinasih conference centre. the solitary missed call i had was actually them trying to contact me for an interview date. apparently, she is unsure whether there are any internship vacancies since i missed the cut. the human resource person said she will check and get back to me.

i am desperately trying to cling onto what God said to me over the last week at the east asian regional conference. i am going to write something about my week there later, but for now, i think i need to pray and sleep a bit before studying for my final theory evaluation tomorrow.

it's all in His God's plans for me. somehow. i just have to believe and trust.
