went on a retail therapy yesterday. and i blew 200 bucks on 4 pieces. it felt damn shiok. but the reality of spending so much hit me as well. but it's not everyday i spend 200 bucks at one shot. besides, i haven't been getting anything for myself other than the good, comfortable basics from giordano's the last year coz' i was too lazy to thrawl the shops for good stuff. oh well, there i go rationalising. trying to make myself feel not to guilty for throwing so much hard earned cash to the wind. ok, after my shoes today. i will stop.
school started again yesterday though. exam format for the geography intro module was explained. and the lecturer gave us some very clear hints. that marked the end of the human geography aspect, the physical lecturer will take over this coming friday. but reviews from generations of seniors paint a very bleak picture of him - lazy, unapproachable...just plain lousy. ah well, if that's true, it will hammer one final nail into my lingering intention to do a geography major. i love geography, but somehow things are not working out. blah!
with reference to my recess break checklist, i didn't get to do the tv presentation thing in the end because i fell sick the night before the day of shoot. and the lit group meeting turned out to be a mere figment of my imagination. i only managed to finish 4 out of 5 chapters of sociology the whole 4 days. and nothing much of anything else. i was just thinking of the ratio of class hours and study hours that each module stipulated and how much of that i am not doing.
maybe this is the last week for the next 2 months i am going to play. it's time to up it another gear. and try to catch up and follow the class load at the same time.
question of the day. i was walking home last night when this question popped into my mind and scarily, i couldn't exactly answer it. hmm. why am i alive right now?
