trepidation and anticipation combined

good news first. i got all five modules i bidded for. the level-100 core modules for geography, literature and sociology; and my usp writing that has got to do with the media and the science one on the brain and cognition.

now for the not so good news. the detailed course description which i just read spells out in no uncertain terms that the science module i am doing this semester is about neuroscience. i have got no formal biology or chemistry background, so technically i am supposed to be nerve wreaked by it. and truth be told, maybe i am. but then again, when i enrolled myself on the usp, it was because i wanted to be stretched academically. keep me in prayer folks -- for my brain to be nimble to new knowledge. to be receptive to new academic matters outside what i have come to know as my comfort zone.

this is a sunday quite weird to me. i went to bed last night at 2am not feeling queasy at all. when i woke up at 7am for church, i felt my throat burning and feverish all over. so it's a stay-home sunday. the first in a long, long time. feels a bit weird though.
