decided to have a change in the template and the blog address. it's been more than a year since i started blogging. it's been hugely cathartic. thank you for being my audience.

friday. end of week 3. i have an essay due tomorrow at 12 noon, but i am nowhere done yet. writer's bloc. i think i am trying too hard. to write the perfect essay.

ah well. met with ailing over tea yesterday. it has been a long, long time since i last met anyone like that. honestly i dreaded meeting her -- because meeting her would mean having to confront all the things i haven't been doing. i quite simply can't keep anything from her. not even when i want to. i am in a rut and i seem to be quite content in it, even though i know it cannot remain like this. i'm just too caught up in the blur of school life -- just reacting and doing what i should be doing.

watched singapore idol yesterday. so obvious who the top 3 was. and david yeo. i think even though he was the arguably not as strong a singer as the other 2 who went through yesterday, he is one guy who i know has the most heart. and i really don't understand why those judges keep thinking that he's ah-beng -- for goodness sake, he's a good old law kid people. smarter than all of you all duds combined.

and watching the performance show which was so obviously pre-recorded and the so-called 'live' results show, i smell a rat. if one is recorded and one is live, how come everyone seems to be wearing the same clothes? are the results really as what they are all about? public votes or a massive farce? i leave it to you to decide. back to my essay.
