capturing the moment

i love photography because i like being able to capture the moment in perspective. it's poignant, personal and just something that means a lot to me. the photo hunt i went on last thursday with the nus photo society was an experience in itself. i took a couple of good shots and learnt a great deal from the pros in the society. once i get my hands on the pictures, i will put them up right here.

i also like films. human interest productions. showcasing the personality behind the fascade of a sports hero, political matryr or a music icon. because behind every single person lies a whole myriad of possibilities. i don't mean paparatzzi kind of a media intrustion.

i want to be able to write. to be the total journalist -- print, photo and broadcast. i would give up everything for a full scholarship to northwestern university to do journalism and media production and then an opportunity to work with the bbc/espn covering either the war beat or the sports beat. but these are stuff of dreams.

back to the reality. of possibly not having enough for local university.
