my interview
it went great. i had fun. seriously. i really enjoyed myself talking to the interviewers. they asked me things like 'why usp?' and 'one person who has singularly impacted you.'
questions that allowed me to be upfront with them. i was honest. they asked me if grades matter to them. i simply said -- if i tell you good grades do not matter after being brought up in a singaporean context for all my life, i would be be lying through and through. that it matters to me, but having said that, i am sensible about wanting to have good grades as well.
and thing is. for the first time, i didn't feel as though this was a life-or-death situation. i had the peace that transcends all understanding. for the paranoid anoroid that most know me to be, this has got to be progress man. i really didn't feel anything before or after the interview.
the interview was good. but getting in is another matter. but i really honestly do not feel like the world will end even if i don't get into university scholars programme. it's not as if i do not want this any more than the sph scholarship. it's so liberating to feel this way.
thank God.
