birthday plans

tentatively, since my birthday falls on a friday this year, i am thinking of holding a dinner thing at my place again. i liked how it went last year. so think i will do the same this year. except that i will not cater from the same caterer again. the food sucked. it's gonna be a more mellow theme this year. prob pasta. with cream and tomato sauce. roast chicken. potato salad. coleslaw. sweet sour pork. do it yourself popiah. but no alcohol.

by the way, i am twenty two on 30 april. and i want practical gifts this year. no more dumb cuddly toys any more please. i am a young adult now.

things that i DO need -- a canon/sony digital camera, a new accoustic guitar, a new personal computer, a palm top, a new handphone to replace my 8210.

after an extended break, a-thank-you-a-day-keeps-the-demons-at-bay series returns today. the man from the red bricks coffee shop called to tell me he had just retrieved my note book i lost last week. now just pray that all the notes are intact as they are. thank God anyway!
