concern not needed
it's like having an overcast sky over you.
the gloominess perprtuates
except that this time
your heart weighs so heavily.
no word can possibly describe that sensation
of disappointment, helplessness and sadness
all juxtaposed.
of reason unknown
to mere mortal soul of how an occurrence
one so numb and used to seeing
can create such a doldrum
that robs the life out of thee.
of a body in chaos.
in no mood for food, drink or rest.
shaking, trembling, uncontrollable spasms.
i don't know how to react.
all i know that enough is enough.
disappointment overwhelmes me to the point of despair.
magnified because of a mask of indifference.
a tendency to minimise
the fallen nature of a generation gone by.
more so when people diss, disregard rooted concern.
perhaps.
to stand up and be counted.
and not feel like so used by mere mortals.
twas' the time.
