sitting by the river
frolicking in the cool waters.
the simple joys
of life and living.

to just slow things down
and take things in
for what it simply is.
in total appreciation
of people's strengths and weaknesses.

what money can't buy.
what people can't give.
happiness.
so elusive. yet so simple.
i just want to be happy.
