GOD forgives, consequences don't

quote of the week if you struggle, then struggle because you choose to obey; and not because you are afraid of the consequences of disobedience.

i thought this was so in-my-face. i was just reminded of everything that has happened the last few months and the last year odd. how God has taken me on a journey. on a season of self-discovery. that all began when i asked him what He thought of me. gee. so now you must think -- i brought it upon myself. but in all honesty, i could not have asked for anything better.

God's love is such that He loves us so much to let us choose whether or not we choose Him as our Lord and Saviour. He wants us to be happy in the way we are, but yet though He knows what's best, He doesn't enforce a decision on us. but with choices come consequences.

i remember the essay i wrote in my 'a' levels gp exam was on choices. i never got to finish it -- probably explained my b3 and not an a1, but i remembered enjoying myself so much i forgot abt the time. the question was "do u think that there is a proliferation of the choices in the world today? discuss." i talked about the choices in the worldly sense. and come to think of it now, nothing quite beats the ultimate choice we were given 2000 odd years ago.

He loves us so much He lets us choose. will you choose to choose Him? as in really, REALLY choose to honour HIM. giving up all that is precious to us?
