how easily people forget the good things

stacy is so grateful. she emails me telling me that i am "on my own." i asked her to help send copies of geosphere to 2 more people, and she said it's only two more, you can do it yourself because she has settled the rest which amounted to about 100 copies.

but before you jump to conclusions, and decide that i am one hell of a tyrannical chief editor. let me quantify.

the entire magazine layout done by me. i did almost all the interviews. i did the publishing. i did the artwork. i wrote half the articles. i edited everything myself 5 rounds. while i was busy during term time with my academic stuff, i did made time for this. and not to count the numerous late nights after exams, getting everything settled.

i never once faulted stacy for not doing as much as i wished she could. in fact, i didn't want to tax her overly so i volunteered to do most of the work. she was a total novice when it came to such software anyway. so i thought i would be nice. there would be other things to let her do. like the distribution of the magazines to the various places for example.

or so i thought.

it all started with an ultimatum she gave me a few nights before to send her the details via email, else i can forget about getting her to do the job because "she is also busy you know."

i mean what the hell.

don't speak as though the world owes you a living. the time when you were so profusely apologetic about not contributing as much towards the magazine at the launch at the arts fac open house. the time you expressed profound gratitude that i did most of the work.

well, now it's time to translate all those talk into action now. and you utterly failed on that count. perhaps you aren't any different from heidi after all.

all you girls wanted was the glory and the satisfaction, but none of the work.
