i just met the printer this afternoon and pushed the manuscript in for printing. geosphere will be launched next saturday at the nus arts open house. and the printing company, times publishing is so professional - when i told them i needed to make changes to the manuscript i submitted to them earlier that afternoon, they immediately sent a despatch driver to collect the new one from me. i made a second mistake when i forgot to label the new cd-rom accordingly - i hope they don't mistake the old and the new one because they are all white on the surface.
i am just so glad it's all over now. it feels so good just to be able to tick off the things on my to-do list for the holidays - it feels like i am finally removing the clutter in my life. the next thing that needs to be ticked off is my driving license which i started in december 2001.
but even in the last day or two, i realised what an obsessive compulsive perfectionist i am. i just couldn't stop reading and re-reading my final cut, looking out for typos and errors in expressions. today, i had to redo stuff because the professor did one round of editing and pointed out some errors to me - but it was something i only found out after i submitted the script.
oh well, at least everything is over now. at least i learnt how to use the layout technology in the proces. thank God!
