it's all going downhill from here

today in cell. people called me a pessimist when i said if we think life is going to be easier as we go along, we are going to be so disappointed.

life is going to get worse whether we like it or not. how we cope with it is what it matters.

it falls into line with what winston was saying in his blog of how we have to count the cost of carrying the cross.

if we keep telling ourselves things will be easier. i think we are all setting ourselves for a fall. because when things get more difficult which will be the case, then we'll be asking God -- why?

i may have been a pessimist. but this time i know i am being a realist. because unless we face the truth, we'll never understand it.
