the wind in my face

whee! just rode on a motorbike for the first time in my life! jinghui picked me up on his scrambler and we buzzed to breeko's to chill a little. was a tad scared when he accelerated so quickly at first. but though i was a rather stiff pillion rider, it got ok after a while i guess.

it was good catching up with him. it has been a long time. there was something he said that sobered me up, considering that it came from him -- that i should be counting my blessings, since i am christian and all. not that i am belittling my 'brother' from our school days, but really it just goes to show how much he has grown over the years. he's heading down under in february though. lucky dude! hmph, one more reason for me to hit brisbane on my ord trip in july. tsk tsk.

what's up with me lately manz? i just linked up with my best friend from way back in kindergarten and primary school. he's in murdoch now, on a scholarship for vet science there. he's there fulfilling a childhood ambition -- still remember how he used to tell me he wanted to work in the zoo in the morning and the birdpark in the afternoons. still remember we did almost everything together. i used to go to his house to do projects or just to hang out. it helped that our mothers were friends. and our siblings were in the same class.

haven't seen kelvin(not mok, it's lim) since sec 2 i think. another reason why i should include perth on my ord trip. brian being the other one. how cool -- buds from both my primary school and secondary school days in the same university right now. and they do not know each other at that.
