monday blues
it was the worst monday i had in a long time. i took so long getting out of bed. and when i did, i totally felt under the weather. on a normal day, i would have just seen the doctor. my head was throbbing -- probably migraine again. but when i remembered how much was waiting to be done in the office, i dragged myself out of bed.
big mistake.
lingered in the hot shower. then when i reached office, i realised my brain was too frozen up to do anything. so i bummed from one place to another, giving people weak smiles and fabricated nods to my boss to placate him and to make him think i know what he wants me to do. think when i finally feel better, the amount of work that i agreed to in my zonked stupor would finally dawn upon me. not only did i not get anything concrete done, i think i just got myself more work.
then i decided to walk home from camp. walked through the sunset estate and then across the bridge. took me half an hour. quite fun actually. think i would do that more often. avoid the hassle of sqeezing into buses with people i don't want to see. come to think of it, i do not like people around me when i go to work or go back home. i like to be alone with my earphones firmly plugged.
think i'm better off alone. without the weight of rejection, expectations and judgement.
