the big bang effect

was invited to ailing's tuesday group thing. it's like a cell group thing. except everyone is all older than i am coz the average age is like 25. though i am 21, people there thought i was 16. ah. but it was way chill listening to johnny gillette talking about the christian perspective on the arts. the sermon was a lot to chew on. there are many things that i heard and recorded now. although i see no immediate relevance, i have this lingering suspicion that these words will become crucial advice as i move along in life. it was incredible -- on a tuesday night, and young adults congregate. i like the environment there, where you feel as though nobody judges you. it helps that we were gathered in a very asthetically pleasingly done up 4 -room flat.

the thing that hit me most when johnny prayed with me. the last time someone had a prophetic word on me was at heartbeat camp 2000 -- the one where i was camp commander -- by pastor seow hao of heart of god church. pastor johnny told me that he sensed that i will not find 'any clear paths any time soon, but when i do, the effect will be as explosive...something like the big bang effect." he urged me to be patient. he said many things else, but i can't remember them now. i should have written it down at that very instant just like i do before. whoever was there that day and heard what pastor john said, please remind me.
